Riesneralm/Donnersbachwald greets the new season with a brand-new idea of their very own making.
A very special kind of animal park in a very special setting, also probably the
highest animal park to be found anywhere - an exciting new attraction for kids in the famous
Riesneralm ski area.
Larger-than-life animals made of local materials, certain to astonish both children and their parents alike. Anywhere from 3 to 4 m tall, the inside of each creature also functions as a playhouse for the youngsters. Picture books about the animal in question and a tierHOLZpark quiz ensure that the kids have lots of fun and games while picking up fascinating information about fox, badgers, chamois, deer, grouse etc. All of the animals are located in the area of the Hochsitz and Berghof, putting them within easy reach for the whole family.
